Playing In Nature
I hope that through my tips and resources we all can inspire other families to foster a love for nature in themselves and their children too. Let’s start a generation trend of loving, caring for and respecting Mother Nature.
I absolutely love permaculture and holistic land management and what they stand for and do when implemented correctly and fully. My goal is to share my love of nature with you, give you tips, and guides and increase your nature knowledge.
I am currently based in the UK, living in a caravan with my husband and fur baby. We are traversing the whole of the UK, with Scotland, Ireland and hopefully the Isle of man as well. Such Fun!

Navigating to Sandymere's main car park, we uncovered the vastness of the beach where our furry companion could frolic freely; which was not in this section of the beach. However, considering the distance, we opted for a scenic drive, unfolding unexpected charms along Sandymere Road.
Our curiosity led us to the tollbooth near Westward Ho! Beach, where the friendly women manning the tollbooth guided us to the canine-friendly domain. As we traversed through the golf course, a unique panorama unfolded—golfers, sheep, ponies, and dog walkers harmoniously sharing the landscape. Nature, it seemed, had painted a picturesque scene.
Westward Ho! greeted us with ample parking, including spaces catering to disabled visitors right by the beach. Public toilets, including those in the newly added visitor centre, added a touch of convenience to our day of exploration.
The waves, at times, reached impressive heights, and the swift tide's dance added a rhythm to the beach's melody. During low tide, the water's gentle embrace offered a refreshing waist-high haven for those seeking a dip. Summer lifeguards ensured safety, while rock pools revealed a bustling underwater world of shrimp, fish, and crabs.
Nestled within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Westward Ho! boasts dramatic cliffs that frame the sandy expanse. Each step along the shore was a visual feast, with breathtaking views in every direction.
Westward Ho! unfolded before us as a tapestry of sandy splendour stretching for miles. A leisurely stroll in either direction promised captivating vistas. Dogs are permitted from October to April on the whole beach and all year round at the Northam Burrows end.
In the embrace of Westward Ho! Beach, our day became a symphony of nature's wonders, a harmonious blend of rugged cliffs, golden sands, and the timeless ebb and flow of the tides. A coastal gem, indeed, waiting to be explored and cherished.

This podcast is a way for me to express myself, as my husband will tell you, I have many thoughts, ideas and I suppose beliefs about how life could be better for us all, now and in the long run. How we as a species need to become more conscious so that all life on Earth can live in harmony, supporting and nourishing each other in turn.
I am open to podcast, topics of discussion and thoughts or questions that have been hounding you.

If you’re like us, there’s a yearning inside of you to connect with nature. You’re tired of life in the hamster wheel and you want to reclaim a little freedom.
To explore either by yourself or with the whole family. No matter where or how far away from home you may go; it does not matter.
Opening your heart up to nature is all that matter
